MEET PASTOR DAVID VEGA

With a heart for Miami and a deep-rooted passion for the unity of the Church, Pastor David has spent over three decades serving our community. Known his love for teaching the Word, and his commitment to seeing South Florida transformed through prayer, he leads with a vision that transcends cultural and denominational boundaries.

A Heart for the Word and the Community

Since 1990, Pastor David has served as the Senior Pastor of International Outreach Center (IOC), a multi-cultural church in Kendall. Beyond the pulpit, he is a tireless advocate for the local church. In 2007, he successfully challenged Miami-Dade County in a "David & Goliath" legal battle, winning a lawsuit that made it easier for churches to meet and grow within the community.

His leadership extends across the city as the Executive Director of Mission Miami, where he networks with hundreds of pastors to foster cooperation and prayer throughout the region.

Awards & Global Impact

Pastor David’s ministry has reached far beyond Florida, including pioneering churches in Curaçao and ministering in Holland, Suriname, and Brazil. His dedication to peace and unity has earned him several honors:

Personal Life

Born in New York, Pastor David has been married to his wife, Janet—a worship leader and teacher—since 1987. Together, they are the proud parents of four daughters and the loving grandparents of five. When he isn't preaching or reading, you might find him playing with his grandchildren, or staying active on the racquetball court.

In His Own Words: A Life-Changing Encounter

"On May 22, 1986, I told God that if He really spoke to people today, then speak to me and I would serve Him the rest of my life. In that moment, I felt the Holy Spirit and heard Him say: 'If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.' I have been seeking the Lord and studying His Word ever since."
