APRIL LIVE STREAMS 2022

Social Gospel vs Gods Gospel Series 2022

A belief pattern that does not match a Biblical pattern.
Feelings that justifies their actions.
A head knowledge that fits in with their social life.

The way to discern between a Social gospel and God’s Gospel is by their FRUITS.

Matthew 21:28-32
28 “But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’
29 “He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went.
30 “Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go.
31 “Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to Him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.
32 “For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but tax collectors and harlots believed him; and when you saw it, you did not afterward relent and believe him.

How we live are the fruits of what we believe.

Relent – sorry, to repent because you believe.

John 15:1-8
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
2 “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
3 “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
4 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
8 “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

God takes out the branches that has been prune but no longer bears fruit.

The Word keeps you abiding in Jesus to bear fruits.

Psalms 92:13-14
13 Those who are planted in the house of the LORD
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,

A boxed up plant can be moved around but it will stop its growth.

Jesus, real or just history to me? 2
Luke 24:32
32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
Your Heart will burn within, when Jesus becomes real to you.
“Open the Scriptures” from historical to an experience that is shared.

John 20:25-28
27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”
28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
Thomas didn’t settle for just hearing, he wanted to have an experience like the others.
Touch and know that Jesus is real.
John 20:15-16
15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”
16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).

Are we seeking for the one we don’t recognize?

Tell me where, i will take Him away….

When Jesus calls us by name, we will know, “My sheep hears My voice”

She turned – His voice made her turn towards Him.

Jesus, real or just history to me?
Luke 24:28-35
28 Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther.
29 But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them.
30 Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.
31 Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.
32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
33 So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together,
34 saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”
35 And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.

They invited Jesus to stay with them.
Your Heart will burn within, when Jesus becomes real to you.
“Open the Scriptures” from historical to an experience that is shared.

John 20:25-28
25 The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”
26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!”

Your knowledge of the Lord is not an experience.

There is a difference in almost in a relationship and being in a relationship.
A true relationship requires a all in commitment.
